Lynn Hatch Passing

Lynn Hatch, the lovely wife of Capt Jim Hatch, USNA ’47, passed away this past Saturday. Jim has been a loyal member and supporter of our chapter for many years, and he and Lynn were faithful attendees at our social functions.  Those of us who knew and loved Lynn can attest that she had a beautiful, always cheerful, personality that brightened her surroundings.  I know that Jim will miss her greatly, as we will–they were married for more than 60 years–so it would be a great comfort to him to support him and the family at this sad time with our presence at these functions.

Visitation will be next Sunday, 19 April, at Patterson Funeral Home, 173 Allen Rd. Sandy Springs, from 4-7:30 pm. The Rosary will be conducted from 7-7:30.  The funeral will be at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4465 Northside Dr NW, Atlanta, GA, Monday 20 April, 11-12, with reception following in the church.
