At a meeting in Annapolis, Maryland on 8 December 2011, the 28 members of the United States Naval Academy Alumni Association Board of Trustees elected Admiral Robert J. He is a Life Member of the USNA Alumni Association; a member of the Naval Academy’s Memorial Oversight Committee; on the Board of the National UDT/SEAL Museum; served as Chair of the Distinguished Graduate Award Selection Committee; is a Trustee of the Athletic and Scholarship Programs Foundation; served as Chair of the CEO Search Committee; and is a President’s Circle donor.
Steve Abbot said, “I am very pleased with the choice of Admiral Bob Natter to succeed me as chair. I am most appreciative that a graduate of Bob’s stature is willing to serve the alumni and the association in this vital leadership role.”
“I look forward to working with Admiral Natter as the next Alumni Association Chairman in Spring 2012,” said Byron Marchant ’78, President and CEO of the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation. “Admiral Natter has supported our Alumni, Athletic Trustees, and Naval Academy in many ways, and will be a great leader of our Association going forward.
