The entire Atlanta Chapter, U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association, family and friends were saddened to hear the news of former Chapter President and fellow alumni Jim Ravenel’s death on Saturday, 15 October 2016.
Jim was a founding member of the Atlanta Chapter. He is both past Chapter President and Chapter Trustee Emeritus. Jim spent countless hours and made great efforts to grow the Atlanta Chapter into one of the ten largest chapters in the country.
Jim’s leadership and legacy continue to guide the chapter’s mission.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Carol Sue, and the entire Ravenel family.
