Pleased to announce that, thanks to generous support from The Home Depot, the Woodruff Arts Center will provide free tickets to all veterans, active military, and their families for the Trace Adkins “The Christmas Show” concert being held at 8pm on Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at Atlanta’s Symphony Hall (1280 Peachtree Street, NE, Atlanta, GA 30309).
Veterans can redeem up to 4 tickets at the Woodruff Arts Center box office with presentation of official ID. The concert will include a special give-away from The Home Depot.
Location: Taco Mac at The Prado, 5600 Roswell Rd, Atlanta 30342.
Time: Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00pm. (Feel free to arrive early.)
Cost: Pay as you go. Our goal is for every adult to purchase $15 (not including tip) from the Taco Mac menu. So come on down and enjoy one or more of over 140 beers on tap. Don’t forget to tell your hostess you are affiliated with the Army/Navy Game.

The 2014 Atlanta Navy Ball, hosted by Atlanta Metro Council of the Navy League of the United States, is rapidly approaching. Date is Saturday, October 18, 2014, 1800 – 2400 (6 p.m. – midnight), at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest, 200 Interstate North Pkwy Se, Atlanta, GA 30339.
The special guest speaker this year is Admiral James A. Winnefeld Jr, U. S. Navy, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. As the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Winnefeld is the second highest-ranking officer in the Armed Forces, second only to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He assumed his current assignment on August 4, 2011.

All are welcome to attend and watch Navy throttles the cadets of the U.S. Air Force Academy this Saturday, October 4th, at 3:30 pm, Location: Taco Mac Prado at 5600 Roswell Rd, Sandy Springs, GA 30342.
Kickoff is at 3:30 pm, bring friends, family and your friends from Air Force Academy.
Navy travels to Colorado Springs on Saturday to take on Air Force in the first game of the round-robin competition between Navy, Air Force and Army for the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy. Navy defeated Air Force last year, 28-10, in Annapolis and will look to beat Air Force for the 10th time in the last 12 meetings. Air Force finished 2-10 a year ago.
Navy and Air Force will meet for the 47th time on the gridiron when the two squads square off on Saturday afternoon at Falcon Stadium.
Air Force leads the all-time series, 27-19, however the Mids have won nine of the last 11 games. Saturday’s game will be televised by CBS Sports
The Falcons own a 3-1 record and are coming off a dominating, 28-14, victory over Boise State in a game that saw the Air Force defense force seven turnovers.
Air Force is led by senior quarterback Kale Pearson, who has completed 37 of his 64 passes for 517 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Pearson has also rushed for 200 yards and three touchdowns on 48 carries. He is averaging 13.97 yards per completion, which ranks 24th in the country.
